Men’s Basketball Team Puts 102 Points on the Board

 

The Vikings (6-9) eclipsed the century mark for the first time this season, beating Tompkins Cortland Community College, 102-91.

Hudson Valley trailed by four points at halftime, but a 59-point second half helped seal the victory. Jesse Smith (Bishop Maginn/Albany) had two of his 18 points after a key dunk with less than three minutes left in the game to give the Vikings a 12-point lead. Kalik Parker (Ragsdale, NC/Jamestown, NC) and Armand Thomas (Herbert H. Lehman, Bronx) both recorded double-doubles. Parker finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Thomas with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Robustiano (Mohonasen/Rotterdam) also chipped in 17 points for the Vikings.

The Vikings next game is Wednesday, Jan. 19. The team will host Nashua Community College at 6 p.m.
